- Many,many years ago I published a short story then gave up writing until a few years ago when I began writing material for a children's drama group and was fortunate to publish both a "How to Start a Children's Drama Group" and, with a musician friend, a children's musical based on the children's book, "The Secret Garden". When I retired,I joined a writing group and returned to my first love, the short story. My stories are probably for the 34 and "way up" ages. They are written so that our absent members can catch up before the next meeting. They will also be the original version updated by the critiques of that day, if necessary.
